The HCNY Foundation is celebrating the Fall with two wonderful events: a Southern Italian Dinner paired with a performance of The Little Flower, and the Annual Halloween Masquerade.
Southern Italian Dinner: A Special Menu in Honor of The Little Flower
The HCNY Foundation presented The Little Flower with Tony Lo Bianco as Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia at the Harvard Club of New York City for members and their guests. The performance was a spectacular kick-off to the Fall season, including a special Italian-themed menu from Executive Chef, David Haviland. The evening benefitted the Club’s Foundation in support of our Scholars and Fellows who attend the University due to the generosity of the membership.
The Foundation’s Halloween Masquerade
The HCNY Foundation’s Halloween Masquerade will be a night not to miss! For those who attended last year’s black tie gala, you already know the evening offers a true feast for the senses—complete with an interactive array of performances including—back by popular demand mezzo-soprano Carla Jablonski and acrobat extraordinaire Nico Maffey ’13, along with famous burlesque dancer Dirty Martini, gifted violinist Charles Yang, Juilliard trained thespian Austin Smith, Mark Mitton the Magician, dancers, singers, fortune tellers, and even a photo booth to capture your own imagination.
Don your favorite black tie or Halloween best costume and get ready to be dazzled by a Dolce and Gabbana fashion presentation, New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre dancers, as well as a talented wire sculptor, Skye Ferrante, as he works his artistry before your eyes. Browse a carefully curated silent auction while enjoying devilishly infused cocktails and ghoulish creations from Executive Chef David Haviland and live music throughout the night.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to bid on exclusive items, such as a Mediterranean Cruise from Travel Dynamics International, a private dining experience at the Club, and bronze sculptures by Merrilee Cleveland during the live auction which will be officiated by Sotheby’s Eli Rodriguez. And much, much more!
Members and their guests are invited to attend the second annual Masquerade to help support the Foundation’s Scholars and Fellows by participating in the auction at the event! The evening is a great way to celebrate our Scholars and Fellows while kicking off your Halloween festivities into the weekend. The Harvard Club of New York Foundation provides need-based financial aid to stellar local NYC students attending Harvard as well as graduate grants for programs that have a measurable impact on New York City.
