Harvard Club of New York City members and their guests are invited to join the Foundation for its second Benefit Gala.
This black tie cocktail party will feature Chef David’s bountiful hors d’oeuvres, a silent and live auction with many one-of-a-kind items and exclusive experiences, and a special performance from 9-time Tony Award Winner Tommy Tune. Proceeds from the event will go directly to support the Foundation’s Undergraduate Scholarship program and Graduate Fellowships at Harvard.
Sotheby’s Executive Vice President of Senior Business Development and renowned Auctioneer, C. Hugh Hildesley, will officiate at the live auction, which will include several special experiences and unique memorabilia. In addition, there will be over 50 silent auction items coordinated by Darrin Wilson, Vice President of Charity Sports Auction. Club Members will be able to participate in person or by logging in online as items will be available here on the Foundation’s website, prior to the event, so that all Club Members around the world can share in the fun!
The goal of the Benefit Gala is to raise critical funds for the Foundation’s top priority which is to provide financial aid to Harvard students. Thanks to the ongoing support of Club Members, the Club’s Foundation has been able to award scholarships to over 400 exceptional Harvard undergraduate students from public, religious and independent schools in New York City since 1954. In addition, the Foundation funded several graduate students this year at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, the School of Public Health, and the Graduate School of Design for designated projects that help New York City.
We hope that you can join us for this amazing event. Thank you for your support!
