What is the HCNY Foundation’s mission?
The purpose of the HCNY Foundation is to foster scientific, literary and educational interests among members of the Harvard Club of New York City, to provide scholarships for students at Harvard University, and otherwise to advance the interests and promote the welfare of Harvard University.

How do I get involved?
All members of the public and particularly Harvard alumni from the New York City area are invited to donate to the Foundation to support its mission. Members of the Harvard Club of New York City are invited to attend our Events at the Club and are encouraged to make an annual commitment to the Foundation.
Do I have to be a Harvard alumnus/a to support the HCNY Foundation?
As a non-profit organization, the Foundation accepts gifts and support from any member of the public who believes in the importance of making a Harvard education available to the brightest New Yorkers through scholarships.
What is the relationship between the HCNY Foundation and the Harvard Club of New York City?
The Harvard Club of New York Foundation fosters scientific, literary, and educational interests among members of the Harvard Club of New York City. The membership of the Harvard Club of New York City are among the Foundation’s foremost donors and supporters.
Our primary focus is to support financial aid for worthy NYC students, all of whom have been interviewed by Harvard alumni, many of whom are HCNY Club members. Working closely with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid, the Foundation designates five Scholars from each class for a total of 20 undergraduates per year; each Scholar receives $7,500 of grant assistance.
In addition to helping deserving students achieve a Harvard education, the Foundation collaborates with the Harvard Alumni Association and Harvard’s Office of Career Services to host a yearly on-campus panel discussion of Club members and other alumni for all undergraduates to explore career development and professional networking opportunities.
