Privacy Policy
The Foundation is committed to protecting your privacy. We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
We use other third parties such as a donation management company to collect donations, and a hosting company to provide server technology to transmit messages that you request. When you make a donation or contact us through a form on the Site, we will share your personal information as necessary for the third party to provide that service.
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on the Site, to resolve disputes, and/or to enforce our agreements.
The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. When you enter personal information in a form, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer (SSL) technology. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
A cookie is a small text file stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes and to improve the Site. We use cookies on the Site. We do not link the information to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. The use of cookies by our partners, affiliates and service providers is not covered by our privacy statement. We do not have access or control over these cookies.
As most web sites do, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, and date/time stamp. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, administer the Site, and gather demographic information about our users as a whole.
We use a third-party tracking service that uses cookies and log files to track non-personally identifiable information about visitors to our site in the aggregate, including site usage, traffic sources, visitor segmentation by browser and geography, and volume statistics, to improve visitor experience.
The Site contains links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by the Foundation. Please be aware that the Foundation is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies only to information collected by this Site.
We may update this privacy statement to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes we will notify you by means of a notice on this Site prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.
