Meet Our Graduate Fellows

While the HCNY Foundation started with a focus on providing scholarship funds for Harvard College students, it has since expanded its activities.

Captain Conor Wynne

2015 Fellow

Currently, Conor is a captain assigned as the executive officer of the 7th precinct on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

As a lieutenant, Conor held assignment in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Collaborative Policing. This office brings external and internal stakeholders together to seek opportunities to improve police service, operations and policy. His initial assignment as lieutenant was as a platoon commander in Harlem’s 32nd precinct.

In the rank of sergeant he worked as a patrol supervisor in Washington Height’s 33rd precinct as well as in the Internal Affairs Bureau.

Prior to promotion to sergeant, he worked as a recruiter in the Recruitment Section, which included the honor of traveling around the country representing the department. His first post as police officer was in the 26th precinct covering Morningside Heights/Harlem.

Conor received his B.S. in Management from Boston College, with a concentration in accounting. He also holds a M.B.A. from Saint Joseph’s College, Brooklyn.

The HKS experience will be even better for him as he gets to spend time with family and friends, having grown up not too far from campus.
